Amirkhani submits Kolehmainen inside a minute at Ice Cage 5
The series’ first Turku event ended fast: the main event went to an anaconda choke in round one.
Ice Cage 5 was held on Saturday 6 September 2025 at Gatorade Center in Turku — the series’ first event in the city.
The main event paired Makwan “Mr. Finland” Amirkhani with Theo “Ei Leiki” Kolehmainen. Both were familiar names from earlier Ice Cage cards and this was their first meeting. It ended inside the first minute of round one when Amirkhani locked in an anaconda choke.
Elsewhere in MMA, Olli “The Amazing” Santalahti stopped Patryk Czart in the second round and Verneri Hakkinen beat Hama Dara by unanimous decision.
Doors opened at 4pm and the first bout started at 6pm. The card featured MMA, boxing, muay thai and kickboxing.
